HEINEKEN, the Province of South Holland and BLOC are working on a programme for the working environment in the future. With the aim of setting up living labs where innovations for healthier working environments can be tested, developed and scaled up.

It was clear before Covid-19 that the office is in need of a major upgrade. The corona crisis has only further reinforced this change. We were already working on this ambition as part of the redevelopment of the HEINEKEN office in Zoeterwoude. However, we noticed that there were much bigger questions. What does the post-covid economy mean for the local business climate? In what ways do we keep people healthy while sitting behind a desk? What does nature mean for our workplaces? We have tackled these and other larger questions in cooperation with the Province of South Holland.
With several online sessions (with which we actually started the Living Lab right away) on interesting themes, we formulated the content approach, resulting in (in addition to attractive invitations for sessions, blogs, visuals and other online content): a detailed programme plan with content themes and program lines that form the guiding principle in Living Lab.
